Those first weeks with a new baby are a blur. Newborn sessions are designed to slow things down for a little while and document your baby just as they are, along with all of the tiny details and connections you’ll want to remember.

Newborn photography sessions can take place in my natural light studio in Chesterfield, Virginia, just outside Richmond, or in the comfort of your own home. My approach is relaxed and baby led, with soft, natural posing and plenty of time for feeding, soothing and snuggling. Whether we’re in the studio or at home, I’m never looking for perfection. I want your gallery to feel like your family and this very short season of your life.

Parents and siblings are always encouraged to be part of the session. My client closet is available for moms and little ones, and I’ll help with wardrobe choices so everything feels cohesive without looking overly styled.

Newborn sessions are best reserved during pregnancy so we can plan around your due date, but I’m always happy to photograph older newborns and babies too.
